The Premise

With the World Cup of Soccer coming to the US in 2026, we invite you to join the World Cup of Foosball, coming to Ridgewood this Dads’ Night. Imagine a human foosball game brought to life on stage - spinning rods, sliding players, surprise backflips, and a roaring on-stage crowd…all played by dads.

The Roles

Whether you want a featured, high-energy role or an easy, show-up-and-have-fun part, this skit is built so everyone can be part of the moment.

  • Some participants will be the foosball “players” standing on the stage holding long rods orchestrating choreographed glides for classic soccer-style plays.

  • A few brave souls will have high energy roles by fully flipping 360 degrees with acrobatic moves as oversized beach balls are hurled their way.

  • Others will act as the “controllers,” pushing, pulling, and spinning giant handles.

  • A few will help feed balls to keep the action moving with balls flying and kicks happening.

  • Lastly, any legit foosball game of this caliber has screaming fans.

Whether you’re chasing a laugh from your kids, or your moment in the spotlight flipping on stage, this is your chance to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime skit that will have the whole room roaring. Come make Ridgewood’s World Cup one no one forgets.
