Chairmens’ Message Feb 9

Good morning everyone. Hope you all enjoyed the Superbowl last night. But as the football season comes to an end, the next big thing on the calendar is Dads’ Night (Not Valentines Day). That being said we have less than one week until the gear cutoff. It is imperative that you finish up your gear order before rehearsal on Thursday. We need to get the orders to the printer and their cutoff is this Friday.

Below is a link to the DN site on Community Pass for ease of access. Catalog URL is: https://register.capturepoint.com/reg/cat_program_list.cfm?season_id=10648

In addition we have only have 47 kids ads that are in community pass. Last year that was around 120. Please get your kids working on the ad for YOU. Don’t let your kids wonder why they don’t have an ad in the program. Lastly, we are trying to finalize the dinner dance and cast party. This is the highlight of Dads’ Night for most and is a can’t miss. So get your registration done. Thanks and see you Thursday.

A few of you have asked about the parties after the shows. Dads’ Night has two parties, the parties are:

Cast Party – Held immediately after the Friday show. This is for Dads only. The cost is $40 per person. The party is held at the Elks Club across from Kings Supermarket on Maple Avenue. The cost of the party includes a buffet dinner, beer and soda. That is the night when we send off our graduating dads and announce the Chairmen of Dads’ Night 73.

Dinner Dance – This is a couples dinner dance (Note: people do come stag). Cost is $50 per person. The party is held at the Ridgewood Women’s Club on Saturday Evening. This is the culmination of the Dads’ Night weekend. This event includes a catered dinner, beer, wine, soda, etc. There is plenty of dancing and a great time is held by all.

You can register for both events on Community Pass with your gear order. If you have any questions about either of these two events please feel free to email us. Ryan and Jeff
