The show must go on! On the seventh day of the seventh week of the COVID lock-
down, we shared the theme and logo for next year's show. Dads' Night 77's
Excellent Adventure, and what an adventure it has been thus far.
We're not going to lie; these past eight weeks have been a challenge for all of us. Matt
and I want to thank each and everyone one of you for the encouraging emails and the
support every time we've asked. The timing of events and how we interact with each
other may change, but one thing is constant, we've got each other, and soon enough,
we will look back and say, "remember when." We are both proud to be part of this
amazing group of people.
As you know, your DN77 Chairmen and a handful of others have spent a considerable
amount of time and resources over the past two months to support the community. We
are excited to announce the next phase in our initiative to support Ridgewood, DADS'
DOLLARS!
What are Dads' Dollars? Well, we're glad you asked. Dads' Dollars are a way for us to
reward you AND help DN support those restaurants that have been so loyal to us over
the years.
How it works:
You purchase Dads' Dollars from Dads' Night in increments of $40
Dads' Night delivers $50 in Dads' Dollars back to you for every $40 you purchased
You take these Dads' Dollars vouchers, in $10 increments, to any of the 13
Ridgewood restaurants listed on the back
The restaurants then return the vouchers to Dads' Night for reimbursement of the full face value
We know you've been helping these restaurants via curbside pick-up as best you can, but now is a way we can do it that sheds light on DN's support for these valued partners.
Forward-looking, the summer family picnic is unlikely to happen, but we are still thinking through alternatives. The DNGO is rescheduled for September with Billy and Damir refusing to accept defeat at the hands of COVID. We are grateful to them for their commitment, as this is our second largest fundraiser of the year.
