DN77 Kicks Off

It’s time to kick off the Dads’ Night 77 show season. Better late than never, this year’s show may look different, but we can assure you, it will be EPIC.

For the first time since 1944, we are producing a hybrid show, performed live and broadcast to a large, outdoor LED screen placed in the field behind BF. After two months of planning, we’ve put together a lengthy Covid plan, secured approvals from the BOE, and pretty much willed this show to happen.

Matt and I would like to give a huge shout-out to the DN board, show directors, and everyone else who has helped to get DN77 to this point.

Now we need your help. Pay your dues, sell ads and be patient as we adjust to the latest CDC and state Covid guidelines. Wear your mask and keep your distance from each other.

NEW THIS YEAR, we will rehearse outdoors behind Somerville. Food will be served at 6:00 and the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm. We will share more specifics next week, including the DN77 ad packet.

We hope you’ve enjoyed the skit teaser videos because it’s time to pick your skit! Join us at 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 8 in the parking lot behind Somerville.

Finally, with support from the board and cabinet members, we’ve put forth a great plan to provide a safe, healthy, and most excellent show. We are asking all of you to do your part to make this happen! This year more than ever, it is for the kids. We expect this year's show to be EXCELLENT, and more importantly, we want next year's show to be as much of a success.
